Organizational Inspection Program Resources for Commanders
 

The Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) is the Commander’s program for coordinating inspections in order to identify, prevent, and eliminate problem areas adversely affecting readiness. This web page provides links to three OIP resources available to Commanders at all levels that will allow for the successful establishment and implementation of OIPs throughout the Army. The Inspector General (TIG) is the proponent for Army Regulation 1-201, Army Inspection Policy. The U.S. Army Inspector General School serves as TIG’s direct representative to the Army for all matters pertaining to the OIP.
